EVENT FAQ:

HOW MANY PEOPLE ATTEND THIS EVENT?

More than 300 guests join us for this biennial celebration, making this event a beloved tradition here at BDS!

ARE KIDS INVITED?

This event is for adults only.

THIS IS OUR FIRST TIME ATTENDING - WHAT CAN WE EXPECT?

Get ready for an unforgettable evening! The Baash is a fun-filled, community-wide fundraising event featuring dinner, dancing, a raffle, a live program, and a paddle raise. It’s the perfect opportunity to connect with other families and enjoy a memorable adults-only night out.

WHAT'S THE DRESS CODE?

While there’s no formal dress code, we encourage dressy casual attire to match the fun and festive atmosphere of the evening.

HOW DOES THE ONLINE EXPERIENCE WORK?

The online experience will take place online and open a few days before the event. Bidding will close on Sunday, April 6. We’re currently accepting donations and would greatly appreciate your contribution to help create a diverse catalog of items that will appeal to a wide range of interests and budgets. Need inspiration? Look through the 2023 catalog to see what others have done. https://belmontday.ejoinme.org/SilentAuctionCatalog

WHAT IS GROUP BIDDING?

The online experience will feature a selection of BDS experiences that are intended to be bid on by a group of parents for an entire class. While participation is optional, the experience is available to all students in the class, regardless of whether they contribute. Choose one parent to represent your group and place the bid. If your class has the highest bid when the online experience closes, the parent bidder will be responsible for making a single payment to BDS and coordinating the event date with the development office.

WHAT IS A PADDLE RAISE?

A paddle raise is a fun and interactive way to support specific needs within our school. This year, we’re raising funds to upgrade the PAC lighting system, addressing long-standing issues with outdated technology. These improvements will enhance the experience for our students, faculty, and audiences. Get ready to raise your paddle and be part of this exciting initiative!
