This original artwork by artist Nick Merdenyan, known as the Lord of the Leaves and an Armenian craftsman from Istanbul, Turkey, is titled "Respect." The artist further qualifies this piece with the statement, "Those who teach me have my everlasting respect." Since 1968, Nick has intricately painted traditional symbols and prayers of three Abrahamic religions -- Judaism, Christianity, and Islam - on dried leaves and has gained international recognition for his masterful skill.  This artwork is accompanied by a certificate of origin/authenticity.
