Paint Your Own Pottery with the First-Grade Teachers
Grab some 1st-grade friends for a creative adventure with Mr. Fox and Mrs. Gibson. These fabulous 1st-grade teachers will meet you and four friends at Clay Dreams in Arlington, where each child will paint a unique pottery piece. Each piece will then be glazed and fired. Mr. Fox and Mrs. Gibson will return to Clay Dreams at a later date to collect the finished work and directly coordinate pick-up with parents at the school. Interested in learning more about Louisa May Alcott, one of America's premier female authors? Up to four students will join Mrs. Friborg on a tour of Orchard House, the home of Louisa May Alcott in Concord, MA followed by some tasty treats. Visitation will occur on a mutually agreed upon Saturday morning. Students will meet at Orchard House at 10:00 am with the possibility that Mrs. Friborg can drive the students from BDS for a 9:00 am start time. Pickup will be at 12:00 pm at Orchard House or BDS.
